Sony: climate "not healthy" for PlayStation Vita successor

Hmm...the N-Gage and the Xperia gaming device didn't work out, for a myriad of reasons.

But, a PlayStation phone - launched independently of the Vita brand (but obviously utilizing its hardware and OS) - could shift a lot of units. Just...make sure the carriers in the US and Europe make it available on their networks

As a Windows Phone fan, I'm telling you that carriers can make or break a phone and an entire OS.
Windows Phone shifts roughly 40 million units a year, I think.

The 3DS sells a fraction of that.
