Santa Monica, Sucker Punch and PD are definitely way better than Japan Studio, and Santa Monica I consider equal to Naughty Dog.

Not even remotely. Call me once ND wastes 4 years and millions of dollars on a project that then has to be cancelled. 

I am not speaking financially, sure ND is better and they are more versatile, but I like Santa Monica games more and reviews also speak for themselves (Both are arond the same level on metacritic). So overall I think both are equal.
