I understand that, but the New 3ds improves the quality of the 3d A LOT. Have you played on an og 3ds? I have one and it's terrible. I have played on my brother's New 3ds and just for the 3ds alone it would make sense to upgrade though I won't do it anytime soon.
You're right about the Ps4, now I see why there wasn't an outrage about that! totally different situation.
Probably buying a 1tb ps4 on november or december with the witcher 3.
