You should just make this the official VR thread. We don't have one and we really should, and you seem to have put together a really great start here.
Anyways! It's nice to see "Oculus ready" PCs will be available for under $1,000, but that's still $1,000. So it looks like the total investment for a Rift will be somewhere between $1200 and $1500.
I also really like that Bullet Train demo. Obviously it would need a lot of work to be a real game, but I like the way it works with the Touch controllers and it looks fun.
