I don't think it needs to take off, it just needs to see a steady increase in average weekly sales. It has become clear to me now that a single game can give the console a huge spike but that spike is rapidly followed by a return to normal. It's has if the game has to be 'all the craze' for it to sustain a better average.
The PS5 Exists.
