I don't agree. Furthermore, I think that you and like soooo many other whiny gamers these days completely miss the point of not just games like final fantasy but most things in general that involves you accepting an opinion outside your own. Let me explain before it seems like I'm contradicting myself.
Every final fantasy game is for the most part very very very different. If I made a list of my favorite FF games, it would most likely differ from one of yours and from most others here in the forums. That to me is the beauty of the franchise. I preferred FF3, FF8 and FF12 to any other of the final fantasy games. And I am more excited for FF15 than I have ever been for a FF game cause its basically doing what I dreamed they would one do day in the franchise.
And that's not a bad thing. Imagine how the franchise would be if 1 through 15 all had the exact same setting, mechanics, music...etc Change is good, unfortunately for games like FF that requires so much invested time it could come off as a bad thing when the best things you love about the last game you played has been taken out in the next one. Again, nothing wrong with that.
Point is, the same way you have specific installments in the series that you loved, is the same way others probably love the ones you hate. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Only wrong thing here is suggesting that the version of FF you like marks the best the franchise ever was and could be and suggest that till they all go back to being that way then FF has somehow lost its way.
