Considering even Win XP isn't dead yet, I'm quite confident that fan favourite Win 7 will remain alive for quite some time. Especially if MS keeps forcing its ridiculous invigilation policies.


I gather you are talking about the stats etc that flows out of win 10 (i.e. the same stats that they patched win 7 and 8 to provide a few months ago). From a gaming perspective XP is dead. If you are happy to live on old tech and not get any of the newer games then go for it,  but I doubt Vulkan will be your saviour as they are going to struggle to support all the current platforms let alone try and support End of Life products.
