I just pre-oedered my copy of Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut - Classified Edition in all of it's slendor effed up glory.

This "Classified Edition" is coming out in November.  Hopefully by then, I'll actually have time to really immerse myself into a game.

As some of you may already know.  This game received mix reviews across the boards while attaining cult status.  I'll admit that I'm taking a chance on this one, but the "bad" reviews actually shed light on elements that appeal to me.  And it is somewhat of a survival horror which I can be a sucker for.  At least this version is the "definitive" version with reviews, while not necessarily saying that it was a great game, mentioning that this is the one to expereince if you haven't already done so.  Survival horror, cult status, director's cut.  I'll take a gamble at it.  And I like this review...

So says Mr. Stewart.  Whatever that means.  Hopefully, I'll find out soon.

EDIT: Here is the pre-order info...

"Immerse yourself in the dark depths of Deadly Premonition with the Classified Edition's collectible contents. Dive deep into the creative process behind the game with a 30+ page hardcover art book, which features more than 50 pieces of concept, process, and final artwork.

Feel like you're part of the world, listening to the 25-song original soundtrack while you sip on your coffee and play a game of poker with the completely custom 54-card Bicycle brand card deck. Of course, you could always throw the soundtrack into a Walkman and wander down a creepy road all alone instead...

And to ensure you have the most complete Deadly Premonition experience possible, you'll also receive a DLC voucher along with your copy of Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut for PS3, so you won't miss an ounce of the fun."
