I knew nothing about MMA or UFC until about two years ago when I heard about Ronda Rousey and that women were now in the sport. I watched a fight (Tate for the second time) and then saw a special on her training and ESPN magazine and followed her. I'm a fan of her, but honestly if she retired not sure I'd keep watching unless another charismatic figure took her place.
