Yeah I think that Nikkei article was actually more or less true. NX will be able to run Android apps.

I could see it too, with Apple TV and Fire TV becoming a bit more gamer focused (and i think that could continue to grow with each new hardware refresh) along with these mobile chipsets getting closer and closer to PS3/360/Wii U visuals, I honestly think we will start getting more and better legitimate gamer focused games on such devices and it would be a huge plus for Nintendo if they got them as well.
