I dint say I knew nothing about it, just the basics. But you win, I do have to do some more research if I want to get my point across. Why dont you list me a few game modes or fetures that you think that make this game diferent than other sim racers, then I will look them up tomorrow, since im going now to work. Then form a more inform opinion. |
First of all this is not a sim racer and the fact that you can drive anywhere tells a lot about the kind of skills you need as a driver. In Horizon you can take a Ferrari in the fields and smash the fences and keep going, drive through the woods without smashing into a tree or rocks... with any car. Track based racers have your car locked inside a circuit and your skills require you to take perfect corners on the road nowhere else... Horizon is totaly different.
You don't have to go from events to events if you don't feel like it. You can just wander anywhere on the map. You can earn cars by finding them hidden in barns. There are races agains't trains, planes, etc... there are events that have you doing tricks in the fields. Other events that are like you are playing tag. There are stuf, hidden on the map that you have to smash through but it'll take you a while to find them all...
Anyway I'm telling you this, when you know nothing about a game at least try not to argue about what type it is. I think you know a thing or two about Evangelion but if I didn't I wouldn't argue that it's a mecha anime just like Gundam. "Well both have kids piloting giant mechas then they must be the same!"
