The price of a game does not reflect the budget of the game. There's a reason why GTA doesn't cost 150$. Sony priced R&C at 40$ because they think that's how they'll make the most money. Selling more copies but at a reduced price.

Sure, that strategy certainly helped Tearaway sell more copies. R&C is priced at $40 because Sony knows that nobody would be willing to pay full price for that game, so of course it will sell more at $40.

Won't sell much, but definitely more than zero. It's a rehash of a decades old forgotten IP made to be a movie tie-in, I see a great chance of it being terrible and selling terribly.
