Really, it was meant to be 3 games and 3 games were made. But Sony seems that can't let the franchise die and put Santa Monica to do something else. There's no room for developing a new plot, Kratos killed Zeus for God sake. It only destiny is to be making endless prequels and remasters.
That is the reason I admire naughty dog, they know when to let it go, they knew for Crash, Jak and now for Uncharted.
