I'm not entirely sure, I only know about Anita Sarkeesian. And I have to admit, I think she had a point in her videos. But people has blown it out of all proportion.

no she has not, there are no studies that link violence, sexism or rasicm in media to violence, sexism or racism in the real world.

Sorry, I will explain myself better. I don't think that there's a link between violence, sexism and racism in videogames/movie with violence in real world, I give you that. I don't agree with Anita Sarkeesian when she said that, but I agree that there are sexism in some videogames. Take for example MGSV, it's an amazing game, but Quiet is an stupid character. It's only naked because yes, she's always showing herself in the cam like... I don't know, it's silly and sexist. But that doesn't mean people who play videogames are sexist. I found it silly and ridiculous, but I can overpass it. And there are more examples of sexism in games, I think that's actually a fact. In this topic I think she's right.

"Because yes"? You either haven't played the game, you are very early in the game, you have missed some very important cutscenes, or you are turning a blind eye of the reason of why she wears little to no clothes to claim "sexism".

Quiet is a candy for the masses that like women (there are lesbians, you know) and there's nothing wrong with that. And to imply that Quiet is not a strong character, just leads me to believe you haven't played the game at all. She is badass, and if you think she is weak just because she's "Quiet", there's a cannon reason for that too, which leads her to act on her own plenty of times.

I liked the days when "sexism" meant to discriminate according to someone's sex. Emphasis on "discriminate". Today the word has lost all meaning to "what might make women uncomfortable"
