(Japan is winning) Western games or Japanese games, which one do you prefer?

Japanese games were a lot better before but they took a serious hit in quality in gen 7 and conversely western games got a lot better at the same time.

Truth and for that reason I did not enjoy gen 7 as much as I should have. I am personally hoping for a Koei Tecmo comeback (very plausible) and a Se comeback (Not as plausible due to mobile).

I think it is funny that the big Se had to resort to mobile while KT is making tons of console games and turning profit every quarter.

OT: I buy more western games atm, but I enjoy japanese more. So currently a tie.
