Of course he shouldn't sing the anthem if he doesn't want to. I just don't get patriotism because no one has ever chosen their nationality they are just born into by the lottery of birth. I'm an englishman but it's only by chance and although i'm grateful that i was born into a developed nation i don't feel that i owe the country anything and neither should anyone else.
