Concept art, character design, story and all those types of things take up an immense amount of time when one looks at a game's whole development cycle. When developers tell you that they spent say 5 years developing a game, 1-2 of those are usually spent laying exactly the creative groundwork you just mentioned. So, different assets or no, XV is unquestionably a continuation of whatever work was done on Versus. Anyway, I look forward to seeing more of the game. My only point was their last two trailers, at Gamescom and that opening TGS one now, are unnecessarily tension building when all the FF fans have plenty tension enough over this game already lol. We're ready for some fireworks. At least I am |
I'm not expecting fireworks but I hope to see more of the world and hopefully the final and complete battle system with magic, customizations, skills, party members, AI control, and such. I think what they're gonna show on Saturday is pretty much footage of the pictures they showed earlier with the chocobos, fishing and more Luna.
