and for the record, i dont fucking hate sony. as i said to another user in another thread, I have PS 1/2/3 with a combined 250+ games for those systems. I dont have a PS4, will probably get one eventually, I just don't like the way they are currently handling things. same goes for MS. I am allowed to disagree with what they're doing with the PS4 while still liking their earlier products and not hating them as a company.

I didn't said you hate Sony, but the PS4.

Now, about that link, can you please quote exactly what Yoshida said? Because I'm reading an actual article and seems like he said that MS backslash made easier for them to know how to approach with the PS4, in the opposite way. I don't see him saying Sony scrapped anti-consumer they had planned for the PS4 at all.

And even IF it was to be truth (note the IF), the fact is still the same, the PS4 is the reason the XBO now can run used games.

ok, i misunderstood. i will admit that I have a pretty big disdain for the PS4.

i did a quick search for his exact words, but i couldnt find anything conclusive. either way, the point is that Sony didn't "save" the used market, it is the consumer that saved the used game market. at best, sony was fully intending on doing it, but decided against it after, thats right, the CONSUMER'S response. I credit the consumer for standing against MS's policies, not Sony. Sony just reaped the benefits for being more patient about it.
