The core market wouldn''t buy the bolded or some other games either with such a huge lineup. Time and money are an issue for many.

You are basing that on the idea that a "core market" consumer also plays all of those genres. By definition I am a "core market" gamer, I own all consoles this gen, I participate in an online gaming forum. In that list I see 2 games I am buying at launch (Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank), 2 I will keep an eye on (Horizon and NiOh), and 7 games that don't interest me enough to warrant a purchase. Your personal list might have the same numbers but completely different games. The diversity is what is going to continue to expand the userbase.

You're right, I'm buying TLG, Uncharted 4, Horizon, No Man's Sky, Gravity Rush Remaster and Gravity Rush 2 and GT 7 if it releases next year. Not interested in the rest. But some people might be interested in a few of them but do not have the money to buy all games they are interested in, so will skip on some games. That is what will lead to lost sales.
