Ok, so looking forward, we have: (including multigen and vita corelease) January: Yazuka Kiwami in Amplitude King of Fighters February: Gravity Rush Remastered Star Ocean March: uncharted in march Street Fighter 5 Carmageddon in May And TBA release dates: attack on titan odin sphere Last guardian (probably be delayed) world of FF Without Memory dayz Hellblade Ni-Oh Ratchet and Clank Toukiden 2 Umbrella Corps Everybody Golf Horizon No Man's Sky I dunno, doesn't look like the best lineup to me. For what it's worth, it's better than the ps2's third year which only saw tony hawk, matrix, medal of honor, and need for speed. The only games next year I'm looking forward to are: Odin Sphere Last Guardian Ratchet and Clank Everybody golf No man's sky It's not the greatest list, but dude, compare what's coming (came) out this year: Super Stardust The Order Helldivers Hotline Miami 2 Bloodborne Metal Slug 3 Toukiden: Kiwami Shovel Knight Tropico 5 FFX/X-2 remaster Magicka 2 Ultra SF 4 Grim Fandango Remake Planetside 2 Rocket League Oneechanbara z2 King's Quest remake Everybody's gone to rapture Until Dawn Grow Home Tearaway Unfolded Disgaea 5 Uncharted Collection Bloodborne expansion |
The 2016 lineup is filled with bigger games though. Of that 2015 list, The Order, Bloodborne, GOW III R, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, Until Dawn and Uncharted: NDC are the ones which are fairly or big hitters.
In 2016, the big hitters are Gravity Rush 2, Uncharted 4, Horizon, KOF 14, SF V, TLG, Hellblade, NiOh, No Man's Sky and Ratchet & Clank. Likely GT 7 as well. So competition between big titles will be more. Also notice how many of them are new games, so probably need to sell better to make a profit. I didn't even count PSN only games like Wild and Rime which might be released next year.
