Why is the whole gaming journalism on Kojima's d***?

I came to this thread expecting a critique on how the media is talking about Kojima and not an overtly negative critique of his game(s). All I can say is that it might be a matter of taste, but both video game critics and people who played the Metal Gear franchise have highly praised the series.

So I'm sorry if I can't finish reading a pseudo-review -which I think this thread is supposed to be- that starts with an emphasis on the word "overrated" because honestly I don't think a thread like that could offer me a different perspective on a piece of entertainment that I've enjoyed.
