is indigogo the same BS system as kickstarter? i dont wanna just give away money, you shouldnt be a beggar!
we need an online platform that lets people INVEST in ideas, not just "donate" money.

More or less. Difference being Indiegogo is available in many more countries than kickstarter, and has an option where one can keep the funds raised even if the goal isn't met, but still has the kickstarter-like option of not cashing out until the goal is met. So what do you have in mind when you say you want to invest in ideas?

P.S: If you're looking to get more returns than just an ad-free version of the game, a T-Shirt and insider access to the developer blogs, you can advertise in my game (starting from $75 contribution). But the queestion is: will the target audience for your ads be likely to play my game?

okay that was stupid of me, im just so frustrated with the whole crowdfunding circus. its bad for all sides. backer should be shareholder, that would be better for all involved. one side sees returns on their investment and the other learns how to run a real business.
