Is it Aloy or Eloi?

I do hope it's not just "conflict" with machines. Interesting stories come from conflict between people (or between "civilised" races/species). Conflict with mere machines would become bland after a while. Unless of course teh machines have a ruling class of machine that can be the equivalent of a human tribe.

The IGN article says "Eloi", but I think most articles I've seen used Aloy.
Looks like GG spells it Aloy

I just noted 2 quoted responses using different spellings

'On how the guys at GG are creating a balance between futuristic and ancient scenery he said:

“I think the strength of Horizon is that everything that’s in the game is there for a purpose, everything is coherent. There’s a lot of cohesion between the tribes, how Aloy relates to the tribes, the machines, the robotic creatures in the game, what their function is, how they interrelate, how Aloy relates to them. So actually if you think it through, it’s one big plan.”

- He said there will be different tribes and that they may react different to the main character:

“The tribes are very different and you’re gonna explore in this game why the tribes look so different from each other, why they treat Eloi so differently. There is a purpose for that.”'

And lolwut? They have a cosplay guide for her already?

The good thing about her costume at least is that it does look fairly practical for mobility and agility. I suppose, with machines that can pretty much one shot you agility is more important that armour.
