I picked FF9 and Legend of Dragoon. Both are RPGs that, to this day, I can still play start to finish and enjoy every step of the way. Admittedly, it was hard picking between FF9 and one of the Crash or Spyro games, but I haven't played any Crash or Spyro recently enough to definitively say if they were some of the best PS1 offerings or not.
Seriously though people, did you see how long that list was and how many recognizable games and series appeared or flat out started on the PS1? It was a pretty impressive machine.
