I agree in general, when the upgrades affects the specs. But 802.11ac can be easily introduced. it won't change anything for people owning the older consoles. Even the SATA III could have its place. It would allow people to get full benefits replacing the HDD with an SSD or an hybrid. But adding RAM or else is a no go road.
