"Ya, and Nintendo copied off of Atari's motion sensing controlers and the PowerGlove."

His point wasn't that Nintendo created motion sensing, even though powerglove was on NES though not built by Nintendo. It was that Nintendo innovated it for what a awesome controller it is now and Sony copied that idea in a much smaller and older form.

"Sega had online way before M$. And Sony also did before M$."

True Sega and Sony technically had online capabilities prior to xbox's release. However, MS are the real innovators here sense nothing then or now really compares to Live. The new PSN and Home will be the first real attempt by anyone to truly match or exceed what MS has done and obviously they exist because of Live.

"Rumble Pack = trash and everyone knows it was..."

This is so wrong on so many points. Sony's, i.e. Immerson's tech, was overall better implemented than the rumble pack, but Nintendo clearly had the original vision.

"...analog sticks was created in arcades, and the D-Pad has been around longer then the NES was."

Again, true, yet still areas where Nintendo really proved their usefulness and again made gaming industry standards.

Either way his main point still stands. Sony hasn't really innovated anything in gaming. They have improved in minor ways to some existing designs. But, many of those improvements are based on personal views.

I for one like Nintendo's single analog approach in all of its controllers far more than the dual analog.

I liked carts much better than discs. I really hope flash media is advanced and cheap enough next gen to make the switch back.
