In brazil we are already joking that we should buy iPads as an investment, the basic model iPad air 1 was sold for 1899 BRL last year, before iPad air 2 release, today the same gadget costs 3.499 BRL, all thanks to exchange rate and rising taxes.
I think apple might believe rising prices around the world won't be a big deal, but they can be shooting their feet, and I'm sure they could at least use the same prices, since euro is still more valuable than dollar.
