But aren't we all expressing an opinion that can affect other people's enjoyment of a game? For example, I saw the Hellblade gameplay video and absolutely loved both the camera and combat. It looks really different from anything I've ever played (I'm sure there are some games that are similar, though). Now if you look at the comments under the video, some people seem to be hating it. The developers saw such comments and are planning to make some changes to their intial vision.
These changes will most likely affect my enjoyment of the game. So, when I say that I don't like this depiction of women, of course I am talking about myself and of course that could affect the enjoyment of the game of others. But that goes for all complaints. Doesn't it? I'm not gonna tell Ninja Theory to ignore people's complaints just because I like the game the way it is. I will let them decide and will only state the fact that I, personally, do like it as it is.
