I'm surprised nobody is talking about the Eyetoy. Granted the Eyetoy was just Sony ripping off Sega and their "Dream Eye" but people usually like to credit that to Sony.

What about BC?

I mean... granted the 7800 Atari had Backwords compatability, but it also had an analog stick.
