MM has a great track record for creativity. LBP and Tearaway are great properties and critically acclaimed. However we can also see that the commercial success of MM games is on a downward trajectory even though critically they have only gone from strength to strength.

I'm confidant Dreams will be creatively and aesthetically brilliant. But I have my doubts about it from a commercial standpoint. It sounds like a game I will admire from a distance, which might be the approach a lot of people take.

It has the potential if marketed right. Give it a beta, stick it in the hands of youtubers, get press coverage over the fact that this game does things undone in gaming and tech ever. Youtubers could have huge influence over the minecraft generation, and if creation is as easy as they promise, it should be easy to capture any tech-savvy kid. Like LBP, playing the levels will be fun for the family, and being MM's next big thing, I have no doubt it will include some form of coop.
