That ship has sailed and Sega is looking to shift development more towards mobile now, it's time to let go.

*Edit* Even if we take into account that they own the Bayonetta IP and the developer Atlus (and the fact that they own IP retro gamers would love to see again), they would have to spend millions (if not billions overall) developing high risk IP and hope they sell (and keep in mind these games aren't the usual suspects in selling multiple millions in the first place). I don't see Sega having that much money to support a system that they needed to crowd fund to create in the first place. From a business sense it'd be suicide.
