It depends on perception. Old consoles look good on LCD TVs if you use anything above S-Video or RGB. And with the PS1 you even have a lot of other choices to choose from, like using PS2 and component Cables or 480P on PS3 via HDMi. I my opinion the later is the best option because the PS1 games are emulated in Progressive scan which make it crystal clear.
That being said there is no Difference between Xbox 360 games on original hardware or Xbox One because both consoles allready ouput progressive scan.
