Why USA never jumped the soccer bandwagon?

What do you mean by isn't popular? Cricket is ranked by most as the second most popular sport in the world, only runs second to soccer. It's massive popularity in India and Asia alone make it huge, then most of the western world and many african countries have it as one of their top sports. (also without a doubt my favourite sport to watch).

In pure numbers cricket is insanely popular, but it isn't really that spread around the world. A bit too focused in India, don't they generate something like 75% of all world cricket revenue or some crazy amount like that?

Well that is hardly surprising, cricket is by far the number one sport in india and with a population in excess of a billion people it would be strange for it not to be the largest chunk of revenue. cricket though is popular throughout most of the world, especially the Australasia, UK region, africa.
