Yeah... sony gave up on it too fast. They were more worried about the PS4. That ended up beeing a sucess without hardly trying and the Vita was the sacrificial lamb.
I definitly dont understand why they didnt green lit the second uncharted game bend wanted to make. I still think they should make it, even if it loses them some money. They can make up for it later with a remaster release on home console. It would be the last hurrah that the Vita deserves, and given the tools are already developed it wouldnt be super expensive to make.
This is what always happens though. If you don't believe your own system, how can you expect the consumer to? The 3DS was never in a very different situation, but Nintendo was behind it 100% of the way, wich is why it suceeded despite mobile trends. Also, the mishandling of Capcom with monster hunter during the ps3 era ended up costing them dearly. Poor Vita was a victim of incompetent execs.
