Iron Maiden´s Empire of Clouds the best metal (I ever heard)

About the Iron Maidens she's pretty hot and I think the Iron Maidens should be more regonised for doing what they do, I mean how many times you see an all female band playing metal or hardrock and being totally awesome while they are at it. Although I would like to see them write some songs on their own or even better make an entire album, they have the funds and skills to do so. I would buy that album as long as it keeps the medolic guitairs any day.

Iron Maiden have their guitar jamming behind the vocalist even in their older songs so it is a matter of whether it works in the song or not, which is left to each listener to find out. I am a little against it when those jammings are way too prominent in a song.

The Iron Maidens have had their share of fame. They are possibly the biggest tribute band. The first link I posted features interestinglittle facts about the band, they even opened for KISS once.

But of course, there is a cap on the level of fame a tribute band can achieve, specially in a music genre like Metal which has fans very spreadout throughout the world.

The girls are really talented players, it would be interesting to see what they could do under a different name, perhaps a side-band or something.

But then I like the idea that there is a tight band like this keeping the Maiden legacy alive. I imagine that even when the sad day that Maiden is no more, we could have this band with exchangable members that keep Maiden alive in concerts. Like a band you could take your grandchildren to see in like 30 years or something.

As I understand things, Bruce recorded most vocal works before he got the test results with the diagnosis. When asked about how Bruce's cancer diagnosis affected the recording of The Book of Souls, Steve Harris said:

"Well, it didn't at all, because Bruce didn't know and none of us knew anything about… There was no inkling of any of it," 

"He'd finished all his vocal bits completely anyway, and then there were some other bits and pieces we were doing. Really, we didn't know anything — he didn't show any signs at all. I mean, his singing, when you hear it… He's singing better than ever." 

"It didn't cause any problems in that department at all. He wasn't showing any signs of being ill. I didn't even know until a few weeks afterwards, when he got his results back. It was such a shock to him and everybody else, because it just wasn't expected at all."
