I'm not denying it can sell over 30k FW, but that 77k from the previous installment is irrelevant, since mgs5 will sell much less. basically, bmaker11 is probably overestimating the sales push.

Going to have to disagree.  Basing predictions on past performances, is...pretty much how predictions work.  Otherwise, where's your basis for 20-30K?  Where's the basis for 18K?  Why hasn't everyone just said 1?

You're also assuming that he meant it would sell 77K or more.  Not that he was just pointing out that 20-30K seems a tad low for a pretty well-respected franchise in Japan.
