Fine wasn't in play, because she'd been receiving donations from people. Now, during the hearing, it was made clear she wasn't asking for them, but they were being sent nonetheless, so the court decided that fining her wouldn't actually have any impact upon her.
Hyperbole is hilarious though, esp. since nobody in the thread is suggesting she receive the death penalty. Keep using that fear mongering though, it really helps make your case.
