Sorry, no. When you're the only person who issues marriage licenses in a district, and you refuse to issue them after not just the SCOTUS ruling, but a federal denial of your appeal, you're forcing your views on others. She has(had) the honorable option of resigning her post in protest, and she would've been commended for sticking by her principles. In this case, she's wasting taxpayer money, she's in jail, and oh yeah, people are getting married regardless of her views.
