All Sony or any one needs to do is spend the billions Ppoe or Samsung spends on advertising if getting the general public involved is what they want to do when it comes to smartphones. Sony started featuring Xperia during Champions League, it's on the scoreboard all the time.

I'm not sure how much it will help, though. It's not like PlayStation would have done poorly without CL sponsorship.
