Pro gamers are skilled, but they are not exceptional in mind or body. I even find it kind of insulting that some people want to compare someone who pushes keys for untold hours a day to someone who is literally the strongest iteration of physicality humanity can offer.

Try playing Starcraft at a high level, the game taxes you mentally, more so then most sports. The insult is not from the people comparing it's from the people who want to take issue with the comparison.
