Professional sports involve physical parameters that very few are born with, and even then STILL cant make it to the big leagues despite that. Pro gamers are skilled, but they are not exceptional in mind or body. I even find it kind of insulting that some people want to compare someone who pushes keys for untold hours a day to someone who is literally the strongest iteration of physicality humanity can offer.

Not met many footballers have you? Peak of physical fitness doesn't mean that they are peak in mind.

You can train to be good at anything, else what would be the point of education/training. Sure some might have more natural talent but this works the same for gamers. Each sport has it's own set of required skills. A 100m sprinter could not in anyway beat the best in the world at Squash. Look at the Decathlon, these althetes can perform exceptionally well in loads of track and field events but they are usually way off the world leading times/distances. A gamer has their own skills, enough to become that good at the game.

Hmm, pie.
