Living vicariously through someone or many others. Often the reasonings for this is because it's where they grew up, or they have a tie to it in one way or another. With gaming, it's not. For the most part the ability to play the game is a real thing, they are quite accessable and generally cost the same as the cost for the internet that it is being watched with. Very few have the ability to be a professional athlete, however the vast majority have the ability to play a game. I do understand the idea of watching a video to find out a part you are having trouble with, but I find that walkthroughs generally work better and are easier to find those specific sections. Your analogy is not correct. |
