I don't take vgc seriously anymore.
Since I've been here, I've read this exact thread a million times about games like demon's/dark souls, journey, la noire, tactics, valkyria chronicles, monster hunter, catherine, persona, dota etc etc etc
EDIT: I haven't played it yet, but when I hear vgc complain about how a game shouldn't deserve sales/hype/laud because it isn't actually a game, or even moreso because it's boring, I've learned to ignore it.
