That was what I was talking about as far as starting off as a slow burner.
It was frustrating being a helpless, crippled invalid. Of course in reality, it is frustrating being a helpless, crippled invalid and skipping forward 9 years from a coma only to skip ahead with Snake's unexpected recovery probably would have cheapened what he went through.
