If your a true Sim Racing fan then the anwser would be easily no. But if you prefer the casual racing games then it doesnt hurt to go 30 frames. I love Forza Horizon 2 but after playing the demo of Forza 6, that slickly smooth framerate really makes it hard to go back. I was stunned at how good 60 frames feels on consoles. I am glad Turn 10 opted for 60 then 30. Graphics get old but a smooth gameplay doesnt. |
Never bought Forza 5. But after playing FH2 i went back to Forza 4 for a few rounds. And while Forza 4 looked pretty outdated, controls where more responsive everything felt and looked more fluid.
I'd prefer to have more arcade style racing games like FH2 and DC to have 60fps as well.
