as blaydcor said, its mostly a drinking holiday in the USA like st Patricks day. Not quite sure of how it is celebrated in Mexico. I take it its mostly just a celebration of mexican culture at this point. At one of my old jobs I worked with this mexican guy and he was so incredibly festive on cinco de mayo, it was amazing.
