We hate on him not because of the money. But because of the options he has. I don't care he has 2 billion dollars to blow. You have emotinonal issues, take care of it. Have nothing to do, USE IT. Don't whine on Twitter. He has endless doors opened to him. I can name 10 things I could do with that money. Worthwhiled to myself or others. And keep myself in use.

If he actually suffers from depression, and selling his masterpiece it worsened, he could have one opportunity for each dollar he earned, but he wouldn't see them before he gets his illness cured. Whining on Twitter, anyhow, could still be better than keeping it all for himself, but while possibly keeping away the worst and possibly fatal outcomes of depression when kept hidden and let worsen, won't really cure him, he must seek help from doctors, not from random people on the net (that could even cheat him exploiting his weakness and diverting him to quackery).
