The Sony of today is nothing like the Sony of 2006. Anyone with some sense knows what would have happened to Sony if the PS4 was another PS3 situation ($499/$599 price tag, one year late when compared to the Xbox 360, huge losses per console sold, a highly complicated architecture).  Hint: It wouldn't be pretty.
