They updated Shadow Complex (my favorite downloadable title from last gen) after putting it out for preview members and it seems to run even better now than it did on 360. I haven't played it, but apparently textures load in almost instantly in Mass Effect but take awhile on 360. So the games can run better via BC.

Those improvements are nice but minimal compared to the massive jump from composite outputs to HDMI outputs. For me it was night and day playing those PS2 games on PS3.

Not so much for me as I was playing ps2 with component cables for years already, the last few years on an HD ready tv with plenty games supporting 480p. I was actually a bit disappointed with BC while trying out GT4's 1080i mode on ps3 BC with HDMI.

Wii games look marginally sharper on WiiU, yet only because it shrinks the image a bit instead of the overscan I get with component cables from the Wii. Going back to composite cables on an old tv is quite a shock though.

The real night and day difference is between SotC on ps3 BC vs HD collection on ps3. BC is nice to have, unlocking the game's full potential is even better.
