Yes; Rousey's striking against Correia was haphazard and pretty messy. But I don't think that was a reflection of how her striking is, so much as it meant she had little regard for Correia's striking and simply wanted to pound the tar out of her, which she did. From what I saw, Rousey chased Correia around the octagon, willing to take backpedaling counters to the face, which weren't effective.

It's entirely possible, her team knew that because Correia is an aggressive striker who is only optimal coming forward rather than a technical counter striker, there was lower risk in being violently aggressive with her.

I seriously doubt her game plan against Holm will be the same although Holm is also strongest coming forward and does not start her fights aggressively. I'm expecting Holm to take a defensive approach, looking to counter while attempting to avoid the clinch and inevitable Judo take down.
